Apparently Robert Lawrence Smith Wants back on the Knox County Taxpayers Payroll

So, former Knox County Seventh District Commissioner Robert Lawrence Smith wants back on the Knox County taxpayers payroll. Smith served on the Knox County Commission from 2006-2014. He picked up a petition in 2014 to run for Knox County Seventh District School Board Member. However, faced with challenging Patty Bounds and Andrew Graybeal, he withdrew his candidacy.

A press release provided to me by a source says this coming  Monday he will announce a run for an office in Knox County.

Will Smith announce for Seventh District Knox County School Board to challenge Patty Bounds and join his Black Wednesday County Commissioner pal now School Boarder Tony Norman? Will Smith attempt a run around the term limit provision and announce a run for County Commission at large? Will he join Bob Thomas, Glenn Jacobs and a probable Brad Anders race for Knox County Mayor? Will he jump into the Knox County Circuit Court Clerk race with incumbent Cathy Shanks, Don Ridings, a possible Tim Burchett candidacy? Will he announce for Knox County Register of Deeds to challenge likely candidate Nick McBride? We will see on Monday, however, Smith has some interesting actions in his past that with a countywide run could be for tabloid reading.

No that sorry excuse is eyeing the at large seat then hoping the mentally challenged republicans will elect him as county mayor. No need for a press conference, just stand out on Broadway at 640 on Friday and hold up a cardboard sign. I want a county paycheck, any vote will be appreciated. He is gone good riddance.

Who the heck wrote that release surely not anyone related to Ruthie? That’s a warning sign to anyone with half a brain cell stay clear of him. Has anyone stepped back and thought, since the corrupt left commission the county seems to be running efficiently? Stick to insurance Larry, Knox County has had enough of your kind.

Oh he is just pissed off that the state didn’t buy his run down building for the 640 expansion. Stay out in Halls Larry, and try to take credit for that lost cause mess down by the creek. The road expansion to no where you are so proud of.
